This article tells the story of Lin Peiyun, a 30-year-old administrative assistant. She was already overweight, standing at 160 cm and weighing over 60 kg. Her weight climbed to roughly 82 kg after having a kid, her waist size to 38 inches, and her hip size to 42.5 inches.
It’s not just about appearances. Lin’s movements grew slow, and her overall health deteriorated, resulting in difficulties sleeping and frequent migraines. Medical reports also found high blood sugar and cholesterol levels. Lin didn’t pay much attention to her shape after having a kid, but when her health deteriorated, she began to focus on her wellness and weight problems. She decided to try acupuncture to lose weight.
Lin began her therapy in July 2002 at the Aimin Acupuncture Weight Reduction Clinic. Her weight was reduced by 24.1kg after 28 therapy sessions, and her waist and hip sizes were reduced to 29 and 36.5 inches, respectively.
Lin stated that her weight dropped rapidly after a few rounds of therapy. By the 19th session, her weight had been reduced to 67.3 kg. Her weight had reduced to 58.7 kg at the end of February, after her 28th therapy session. The full course comprises 30 sessions, and it is still being treated as of this writing.
Lin joyfully shared that she can no longer wear her old clothes because they are too big. She had to completely redo her wardrobe. Her sleep quality has improved, and her blood sugar and cholesterol levels have returned to normal.
Aimin Acupuncture Weight Loss Center helps suppress excessive appetite through acupuncture and offers dietary guidance to assist their overweight patients. Acupuncture weight loss is achieved by stimulating specific points to regulate hunger hormones, such as ghrelin and leptin, which can influence your appetite and satiety.
Lin struggled to adjust to a new diet at the start of her weight loss journey. However, she gradually became used to eating more healthily, and even found it strange to revert to her old eating habits.
Lin then prefers to eat lighter, simpler meals, and her desire for starch has significantly decreased.
